Tatum sickened by vomiting scene
CHANNING TATUM was left gagging for real during a vomiting scene in new comedy 21 JUMP STREET because having his pal JONAH HILL’s hand in his mouth made him heave.
The G.I. Joe star teamed up with Hill for a big-screen remake of the 1980s TV show, but they both balked at shooting a stomach-churning scene in which their characters make each other sick.
And despite ensuring they thoroughly washed their hands before the cameras rolled, Tatum admits the experience was deeply unpleasant.
He tells Total Film magazine, “Oh, man. I don’t know if you’ve ever had anyone else’s fingers in your mouth, but it’s disgusting. We were terrified because it’s one of the funniest scenes and we didn’t want to get to it. I said, ‘Dude, I love you, I’m gonna wash my hands like 20 times, OK? Then I’m pure’. And we just went for it. Ugh.”
